COLLEGE

RECRUITING

Student-athletes seeking to advance their playing and academic careers to the collegiate level have many requirements to meet both athletically and academically. The recruiting process is very competitive, complicated and intimidating. Education, encouragement and guidance for the student-athlete and his family become critical during this process. An individualized, well-packaged recruiting plan also becomes a crucial tool in being successfully recruited by the student-athletes preferred institutions. The creation of these packages and highlight tapes is not the role of the high school football Coach or the high school counselor. Their job is to provide statistics, game film and instruction in the sport of football and to help mold these young men’s character. The earlier this process is introduced the better prepared the student-athlete will be.

THE PROCESS

YOU HAVE WORKED HARD IN THE CLASSROOM, THE WEIGHT ROOM AND ON THE FIELD... NOW WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • THE RECRUITING PROCESS STARTED YESTERDAY!! (IN SOME CASES PROSPECTS ARE IDENTIFIED PRIOR TO ENTERING THEIR FRESHMAN YEAR OF HIGH SCHOOL)  YOUR GRADES AND CHARACTER ARE GOING TO BE YOUR MOST VALUABLE ATTRIBUTES.YOUR COLLEGE CHOICE IS A 40 YEAR DECISION NOT A 4 YEAR DECISION.

  • BEGIN RESEARCHING COLLEGES ON LINE AND IN PERSON. PRIORITIZE WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO YOU IN A COLLEGE.

  • BE REALISTIC ABOUT YOUR ABILITY. THERE ARE MANY PLAYING OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE LESS THAN 1% ARE AT THE DIVISION 1 LEVEL.

  • BE PRO-ACTIVE  -COMMUNICATE YOUR INTENTIONS TO YOUR HIGH SCHOOL COACH, HE CANNOT GET YOU A FOOTBALL SCHOLARSHIP BUT HE WILL BE HELPFUL IN YOUR RECRUITING PROCESS.

  • ULTIMATELY THE STUDENT-ATHLETE AND HIS FAMILY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CONNECTING WITH COLLEGE COACHES.

WE OFFER A COMPREHENSIVE RECRUITING GUIDE THAT WILL TAKE YOU STEP BY STEP THROUGH THE PROCESS AND GIVE YOU VALUABLE INFORMATION TO HELP IN THE PURSUIT OF YOUR COLLEGIATE GOALS
